هدف البحث إلى قياس العَلاقة ما بين التعرض لتغطية الصحف والمواقع الإلکترونية الإخبارية لقرض صندوق النقد الدولي والرهُاب الاجتماعي والتوجه الحياتي لدى عينة عشوائية من الشباب الجامعي قدرت بنحو (400) مبحوث من جامعات القاهرة والمنيا، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج أبرزها:
-    أن نسبة 82% من إجمالي عينة البحث يتابعون التغطية التي تقدمها الصحف والمواقع الإلکترونية الإخبارية عن قرض صندوق النقد الدولي، کما تصدر الموقع الإلکتروني لصحيفة اليوم السابع ترتيب المواقع التي يتابع المبحوثون من خلالها موضوع البحث، ثم (بوابة الأهرام).
-    أکثر الموضوعات التي تابعها المبحوثون على خلفية قرض صندوق النقد الدولي کانت تلک المتصلة (بتحرير سعر الصرف أو تعويم الجنية)، ثم (رفع الدعم).
-    ثبت وجود علاقة طردیة دالة إحـصائًیا بـین تعـرض الـشباب الجـامعي لتغطیـة الـصحف والمواقـع الإلکترونیـة الإخباریة لقرض صندوق النقد الدولي والُرهاب الاجتماعي لدیهم؛ کما ثبت وجود علاقة عکسیة دالة إحصائًیا بین تعرض الـشباب الجـامعي لتغطیـة الـصحف والمواقـع الإلکترونیـة الإخباریة لقرض صندوق النقد الدولي والتوجه الحیاتي لدیهم.

University youth Exposure to covering online journalism and news websites of the IMF loan and its relationship to social phobia and life orientation: "a field study"
Abstract:
The aim of the research is to measure the relationship between exposure to newspapers and news websites of the International Monetary Fund loan and social phobia and life orientation among a random sample of university youth estimated at about (400) respondents from the universities of Cairo and Minia, and the study reached several results, most notably:
-        82% of the total research sample follows the coverage provided by newspapers and news websites on the International Monetary Fund’s loan. The website of the Seventh Day newspaper also issued the ranking of the sites through which the respondents follow the research topic, then (Al-Ahram Portal).
-        Most of the topics that the respondents followed up on the background of the IMF loan were those related to (liberalizing the exchange rate or floating the pound), then (lifting subsidies).
-        There was a statistically significant positive relationship between the exposure of university youth to the coverage of newspapers and news websites of the IMF loan and their social terror; In addition, there was a statistically significant inverse relationship between the exposure of university youth to the coverage of newspapers and news websites of the IMF loan and their life orientation.
